What this app does
Big Beautiful Obituary monitors publicly available news articles from major wire services and newspapers. It uses artificial intelligence to score articles for relevance and severity. When multiple sources confirm a specific event with high confidence, the app sends a Critical Alert notification to your device.
No guarantee of delivery or accuracy
Notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis. We cannot guarantee that every notification will be delivered, that delivery will be instantaneous, or that the AI’s assessment of any article will be accurate. You should not rely on this app as your sole source of breaking news.
Subscription and billing
The app offers a free 30-day trial. After the trial, a subscription of $1/month (USD) is required to continue receiving alerts. The subscription is billed through Apple’s App Store and managed entirely through Apple’s subscription system. To cancel, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
We are not a news organization
Big Beautiful Obituary does not produce original reporting. We aggregate and score publicly available articles from third-party news sources. We are not affiliated with AP, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, or any other news organization. Article titles and links displayed in the app and on our website point to the original sources.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Beautiful Obituary and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the app or website. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service, or your access to it, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. If we permanently shut down the service, no further subscription charges will be incurred after the current billing period.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
